Well I finally got to try out the written test after all of the worrying. I am not sure how I did. I had a hard time with the Vocab portion and a little trouble with missing words on the paragraph. The rest of the test I felt pretty comfortable. I guess will wait and see for the results. :think: Did anyone else have a nervous feeling?

Every single test/interview that I had I was nervous before/during/after. The psych was so nerve wrecking after I had the interview I was sure I wasn't going to make it.
I think if you are nervous for some of the things in the testing process it prepares you a bit better. I do think that some of the interviewers expect a bit of nervousness and would be concerned if you weren't and just went in smiling the whole time.

I am glad i am not the only one who has felt this way. I tend to be a worry wart when it comes to test. Thanks for the reply.

I was so nervous about the written, i passed that..Now im waiting for results from my oral interview and im going crazy waiting! I just wanna know right now either way..no more waiting..ill accept the answer no matter what it is! lol...well good luck!!

By the way, I retired out of the Merced office and just moved from there after living on El Camino Real in Merced for 20 years. It took us 2 years and 3 months to sell our house in the crummy real estate market there.

CippySgt, you were lucky to even sell your house in this area, the market is way too flooded here, but that is a pretty nice neighborhood too bad you had to sell.

I took my written on the first as well. I'm hoping to get my results this weekend; especially since I have been scheduled for the PAT, Psych, and QAP saturday, sunday, and monday of next weekend :think:

Not really too bad about selling. The sale was a prerequisite to moving to our ocean view home in Cambria. Although we left a nice area we moved to what some, including me, consider close to on parr with paradise.

To keep this on topic, I will again say, best of luck to all of you on your written test. I will also tell you what my dad always told me and he was an NYPD cop. If you don't succeed at first, try, try again.........

No call or letter yet. Could be good or bad. I still have 22 months left in the Marines anyway so I will have plenty of time to retake the test if I have too. I have a L.A. County Sheriff test on the 15 as well so either way i will have to do something on the 15th.

it will be my 3rd too...the story at the end gets me..but i was able to fine the mark twain quote about the jury system on google, and ive been studying it. Hope tomorrow goes well :smile:

I just took the interview waiting on the results. makes me even more anxious that I took a ride along today, I'm hooked:tape:
