Hey all,

Has anyone received their QAP scores yet during the most recent Valley Division testing cycle? One of the panel members said to possibly expect notice in the mail around the middle/end of February. Anyone else have any other timline hints from their panel members or other sources?

My panel chair said it should be about two weeks, but at any rate by the end of January. She said that 4-6 weeks is the standard line, but it should be much faster this go around.

Looks like the Valley scores are coming out. I got mine today and the third time was the charm, I got my 95 and a commitment to hire. Now the real fun begins. Thanks to everybody here, especially lomotor, I think learning from the board here is what helped make my commitment stronger and I think that showed during the interview.

Hello, I just checked the mail (sat. 01/28/05), received (2) letters. One was a notice saying that I had "obtained a passing score" on the QAP, however my score was only an 85. In the second envelope, the letter indicated "a conditional offer of employment for the position of cadet," and a BI form to sign. It was my understanding that only scores of 90-95 would receive conditional offers of employment. Did the nec. score (to go on in the process of cadet) get lowered, or should I temper my enthusiasm and excitement.

So I just checked the mail today, (Sat. 09.28.05) and received my scores. I snagged a 95:biggrin: and a conditional offer of employment, so now I guess I need to finish that darned PHS packet... :lol:

I'm pretty sure that it means you are moving on in the process. Additionally I had heard a rumor that they might take 85's this go around, sounds like it was a true rumor.

Dipmo, I sure hope you are correct, I'M sure some one will post a definate response. I will call Mon. morn to inquire. Anyway, my sincere congrats. on your 95. I know what it means to keep trying! This was my second time also, the first QAP, I did not even receive a score. I went back to school, graduated, and did a 1 year internship w/ CHP- Sac. County Sher. Auto Theft Task Force. Though it was bck in '99 that I initally attempted to gain employment w CHP, I feel that the QAP board liked my dedication and perceverance. In any scenario, I will apply again, and again, until I am at the academy or get too old!! I hope I see you at the academy!
