hey everyone, ive got a couple questions as far as the academy goes... i understand that they allow you to have Laptops and such, is there any type of internet connection that you are able to connect to with either a lan cable or through wireless connection? Also if there isnt, is there any places such as internet cafes that are close by? also what are you required to have with you when you go in? i know boots and some towels but what else?
ive pretty much completed all of my requirements and am just waiting on word from sacramento but im hoping to still be able to get into the January class... i finished my physcological interview about two weeks ago... so ive got a week left. anyone know if the class is full yet? and if not if theres still a chance that i can be accepted into the january class? thanks alot!

no laptops. starbucks is across the street so keep it in your car if you can't wait till the weekend to check your myspace.
if/when you get your acceptance package there's a list of everything to bring (and not to bring..ie anything with batteries other than a clock).

Sure, why not.
Keep in mind its going to be at or below freezing some nights, and if you don't get into this up coming class you'll be there in the summer. I don't know how well computers handle extreme temps.

No fault of yours but I'm amazed that these questions weren't covered by your background investigator. Hopefully you attend the orientation the day before pick up day. Unfortunately, it will be too late to fill the voids by then.
Good Luck!

Just out of curiosity, you have read about the academy, and you do know a little about what goes on at the academy? I'm not sure when you are planning on going to Starbucks.

The part of Friday you are usually off is after 1700. There is usually one weekend you have to work, unless you fail a test and have to make it up.
