I have a friend that works for the LAPD that does business cards on the side. I have used his service in the past and it?s been excellent, in terms of pricing and quality. His clients include, but not limited to: LAPD, LASO, CHP, US Park Police, FBI, US Secret Service, NYPD, SFPD, SFSO, ATF, and a host of other police/fire/military agencies.

Business cards are tax deductible! You can view hundreds of sample business cards from numerous agencies by clicking on the link below:

This is another good link for CHP business cards. I worked with the owner to develop a retirees business card and I have been very happy with the results.
I looked at the Code3 Products site and they are pretty nice also.

Nice to see. I never could understand why the department did not give business cards to all officers. They gave me some when I made Sgt. but they were nothing to brag about. Now the folks in HQ, they get the gold foil........................

You are absolutely right on the significant price difference. I definitely got some nice looking cards from the CHPCards business but the price difference could make me switch.

I sent Code 3 an e-mail to see if they had a retired CHP sergeant image that they can use on cards since I did not see any like that on the website and that is something I like about the cards I have. Hopefully they can come up with something for us retirees.

Cheers,
Brian

Sgt.,

Code 3 can put any kind of graphics or logos you want on it and the good thing is, FREE setup! I'm sure you will be absolutely satisfied with the product. Tell them that I referred you to them and they will take good care of your needs...

Kevin,

I was impressed when I got an answer to my e-mail in about an hour. It was a positive answer about having the retired CHP sergeant's badge and it was signed by "Kevin....". Couldn't be one and the same, could it??? When I get ready my next order will come from Code 3.

I ordered cards from Code 3 a while ago. Great quality, reasonable price. Plenty of designs to choose from.

Not a bad way to go if you want to buy business cards. I would recommend a statement indicating it is not to be used as a courtesy "get out of jail free" card. I love making stops where the violator coincidentally has an allied card mixed in with his DL and such.
