Saw that video a while ago, the story of the camera is that guy was a DEA agent or some Federal cop type working undercover. They said he fell, or was falling, asleep. He fatalled out, obviously.

Many years ago I was involved in a rollover accident on a local freeway. I'm sure wearing a seatbelt saved my life.

That video is from a company that makes rear-facing cameras to track commercial drivers. I'll have to dig up the link. Actually I've seen many posts saying that he lived... but who knows.

In the uncut version of the video, you can hear the guy say "sh*t" at the end.

I don't know about living through that 51. Dudes head is hanging out the rear window and if you look at the passanger side front window I see what looks to be brush which tells me the car is laying on it's side.

Ok... I dug up an old email. The video is from drivecam.com and it used to be hosted on their site (it has since been taken down).

I had this video up when I used to run a big video website. A company rep emailed me back when I asked if the video was real.

"The video is real and the driver walked away with a few scratches and bruises. He worked for a taxi delivery service."

So the guy lived... The google video has the drivecam logo ripped out (usually in the upper right corner). In addition it is much shorter than the original. You'll also notice the impact has been distributed over his upper back/head area.

People have survived MUCH worse things.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding... we have a winner! It is a drivecam video indeed. If the guy was 11-44 I wouldn't of been laughing. Hopefully he'll wear his seatbelt next time.
