This weekend I got the PAT and Psych written out of the way. It was an experience to say the least. Valley Division applicants were lucky enough to have all of our testing done at the academy, and wow. Most of us passed, myself included, but it looked like we all were pretty far from being anywhere near prepared for the first day, myself also included there too. We even had a brief introduction from some of the PT staff. As intimidating as it was, I am more psyched now that I have been at any point in the process. I'm still in awe after watching a platoon of cadets march past doing a cadence. I don't want to jinx myself before my QAP (this week) and BI, but as hard as the academy looks, I can't wait to get there and learn/ experience it. If anyone has suggestions for the QAP that aren't already up here, or wants to know about the PAT or Psych written (my fingers are still sore from filling in bubbles) let me know!
Congrats on uoplax13 and good luck on the QAP. PAT at the Academy....cool deal. I would like to go up and see it sometime before I get there (assuming I do). When is your QAP?

My QAP is coming up this Thursday, so hopefully it isn't snowing to hard on the drive down. The PAT was very cool to have at the academy....same tests, but just soaking in the environment (at least what we were exposed to) was cool.

I agree what a great environment for our testing this weekend. Sure beat the heck out of some school someplace. The PAT talk was a bit intimidating, but it should serve as a good incentive to prepare thoroughly before arriving (by the way I was one of those that was "resting back on your hands" It was funny to watch how many of us suddenly sat up when she said that). Good stuff what row were you in as I noticed some of the back rows looked like they were going to be there for a little while.
Good luck on Thursday, I?ve got mine tomorrow afternoon.

I was way back in row 10, where were you? We were there until about 3 I think....and it was funny to watch people get off thier hands and sit up a little while the officers were talking. Good luck tomorrow.
