It's a 1982, one of the very first SSP Mustangs. :cool:
Code 3 parade?....I bet the neighbors just love that They usually stand outside and smile and wave. They're used to it by now. :lol:
Is the CHP Charger just a show vehicle or does the CHP really have some chargers that look like that? I am not sure I like the graphics.

Those hatchback Mustangs are super rare. Six of that body style were ordered with the initial batch of 1982 coupe (notchback) Mustangs. They proved to be inferior and no more were purchased. The test units were used for regular patrol until they were run out then sold and this restored example may be the only survivor:

I am not sure I like the graphics.The word is that this one is the first of nine specially equipped and marked Chargers being built for public affairs use and will replace the black & white Camaros currently assigned. Those markings will not be showing up on any regular patrol vehicles and from what I heard at the show, they were either really loved or really hated..no middle ground there. :shock:
