A close friend sent me this video and I will be honest when I say that this made me cry, that does not happen much but I was weeping at the end of this video.

These videos are very hard to watch, but that is nothing compared to living through these events. I remember vividly standing in a rainy graveyard, in full dress blues, next to a mother of a close friend of mine. I can still hear her crying hysterically, as she recieved our wonderful flag in the most tragic of scenarios. I remember feeling like it was my job to maintain my strength and bearing for this mother. I remained there in a salute as the flag was passed, but inside my very fiber was being torn apart. This rainy afternoon is by far the most challenging expierience I have had had in the Marine Corps and still pains me to even type or think about it today. Freedom is not free. Some one, some where, will always pay the price. Rest easy Devil, and Semper Fi.
