Academy Question....

If someone completes the CHP Academy, and later down the road he/she feels destine to change careers. Would the CHP Academy satisfy the academy requirements within a law enforcement divison such as the OCSD?

OCSD accepts lateral transfers; however, you must attend their mini academy to learn their Rules and Regulations, County codes, jail procedures, custody management, etc. The CHP academy does satisfy the requirements of POST.
