I just had my psych appeal interview with the psychologist..and she told me she was going to write me a strong recommendation at the end of the interview...she even told me to call her when all was said and done with to let her know how everything turned out. For the people that went on to the panel hearing for your appeal and passed it..can you let me know what I can expect at this hearing and any other words of wisdom?..It's been an extremely long process (over 2 years now on 1 attempt)..and I'm extremely excited that it's drawing to a close...hopefully it will end up with me attending the next academy. Thanks in advance.

I’m in the same situation as you. I have since completed the first step of hiring a psych doc, passed that and I’m now waiting for the hearing. It has been a long process so far.
I would definitely like to find out more information regarding the appeal process and or hearing process. I have searched through all these threads hoping to find specific answers on this topic but was unsuccessful. Has anyone been through or know of someone who has been through the appeals process following the Psych, that did go on to the SPB panel hearing who can shed some light on this subject? Is anyone else in a similar situation?
Thanks-
MavRick

I did have to go through the Oral Psych appeal process, however, my appeal was approved without the need for a formal hearing. For what it's worth, I got written notice of my successful appeal about four weeks after I submitted it. Good luck!
