Menlo Park Police & Ripon Police
Present the 16th annual
Emergency & Military Vehicle Display Show & Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair
Saturday, September 22, 2007
Ripon Community Center & Park
412 West Fourth Street
Ripon, California
8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The show is a non-profit fundraiser. This years proceeds will be donated to the family of Ripon Police Officer Robert Winget. Officer Winget lost his life while on duty on April 10th, 2007. He leaves behind his wife and three children.

This show is open to any current or restored emergency or military vehicle, including police, fire, military, and ambulances. Public agencies are welcome to set up recruitment areas free of charge as long as they bring a marked vehicle for display. You may bring as many vehicles as you like. Ex-police vehicles used as “daily drivers” are welcome. The show offers cool grass for vehicle and recruitment display. The show is designed to be a very enjoyable pro public safety family experience.

We thank Emergency Vehicle Solutions of Menlo Park for providing the needed funds for show expenses.

During the show there will be a parade consisting of the vehicles entered in the show. The Ripon Police Department will coordinate and escort the parade.

On Friday night, prior to the show on Saturday, there will be a controlled cruise for the participating show vehicles to a local restaurant in Ripon for dinner. We will depart the Community Center at approximately 6 p.m. Please advise in advance if you will be attending.

For further information, call Darryl Lindsay @ 650.743.4486, or email: inpursuitmppd@yahoo.com (inpursuitmppd@yahoo.com). Thank you for supporting our non-profit event.

I was hoping to make it to this show next year trying to get the members of the 2 SSP sites that are restoring CHP Mustangs and Camaros to take a road trip we can meet up as we make our way across country they are all over. I'm as far east as you can get i'll have one of the longest trips but i think it would be great. We would have to set something up with the CHP because most of the cars would be marked and might cause issue.
