I always feel like a kid at Christmas. So what did you get, aside from ties and socks, and what did you go all out on in the giving department?

Got: BOSU ball and video workouts for it. Goal, improve core strength and balance.

Gave: Lots of cash and gift certificates and picked up several four star restaurant dinners for groups of relatives. Please wire cash to me at...

I flew home early last year from Chrismas to go Karting.

My lack of presents this year was a direct result of the previous years actions.

But, hoping this is/was my last real Christmas before having to work next year, I was just happy to spend time with the family.

Got a waterproof digital camera, accessories for it, and a nice Paso Robles cabernet. Oh, and a whale of a tummyache. If I was going off my 'beat the training table plan,' I was going all out! Got my boyfriend a swimming technique dvd, sent my sister a bunch of containers I've been collecting for geocaching, got my parents tickets to a zinfandel festival in SF, and my boyfriend is getting them a hotel for that night.
And best of all, I got to bring a few smiles & laughs to a local family who lost their teenager in a crash last year.

Very cool! I haven't planted any travel bugs yet....mostly just TNLNSL at the caches I've visited. I've only messed with local ones, but want to start loading some up in my GPS when we travel and checking them out. It's a great way to enhance the sightseeing experience, as you're using "local knowledge" of cool spots in whatever area you're in.

GPS is a fun "toy" for a lot of things - very useful. Just to keep it on topic, I didn't get any GPS stuff for Christmas because I'm already pretty well set up.

I was hoping the TB that went to Tahiti was one my sister took there, but nope, it's not. She ("Snuva") lives in Tasmania, and took an eclipse viewing cruise last year with my parents from Tahiti, to Pitcairn (didn't get to go ashore...residents aren't tourist friendly, but they'll board a ship to sell souveniers:neutral: ), Easter Island, & Peru, toting a bunch of TBs the entire way. I introduced her to it a few years ago when a friend gave me the "Australian honeymoon TB" (the couple set out the bug, then planned their honeymoon around where it went down under. THAT'S into it!), and she's INSANE about caching! I havn't released any bugs (and "chepup" has only set 2 caches so far), but when she visited last year, she set a cache full of Tasmanian devil TBs, and they're racing back to Tassie.
Check out the really nifty containers you can buy on ebay! Those micro nanos are just crazy!
And I love how I discover new dog walking places caching!!!
