All I have left to pass is the psych exam, so I feel pretty confident I'll be in the October Academy. My question is when exactly do benefits, especially medical insurance, start? Would it be the first of November, or 30 days from when I start the academy? I've heard both. I have a wife and kids to think about and need to figure out how long to pay for COBRA, if I need to at all.
