Fellow forum members,
I have completed my PHS packet with the exception of some employment history dates. Is there a web-site that is reliable to find exact dates of employment? I havn't received my employment history from the Social Security Administration yet, so i can't use that route. I can make very educated guesses about some jobs in high school and earlier, but I doubt they are exact and i'd rather be dead-on with my answers than just making educated guesses.
Thanks!
Adam

AdamNo web site, but you can call your former employers.

I know this sounds bad, but if you have more jobs than you can fit on the two pages in the PHS, can I just make a photo copy of one of them? Also, it says list all volunteer positions, would I list being an Explorer?

Good Lord!!! You never really think what a scumbag you are, until you try filling one of these things out. I swear, looking at this thing you just think you would never get hired. The odd thing is I have no major things. I have never been arrested or used any drugs, or smacked my wife around, but I look at this paper work and cringe.

This post is a little late but it might help other users.
Don't expect much from the Social Security work history print out. It will be a couple pages of gibberish that is next to impossible to read. You will get a summary of what you made for previous years and the "years" that you worked for a certain company. You will not get months or days.
The best thing to do is call you old employer(s) and see if they can pull your file.
Keep in mind: The background investigator will still want to see a social security employment history print out.

Maybe you should refrain from giving out information that may not be correct for every Division. (Don't everyone run out and get a Social Security printout until specifically told to do so -- unless you were going to get it for your personal use anyway.)
