2002 - Started Process
2003 - Passed written but hiring was frozen until further notice.
2004 - New baby changed everything.
2005 - Still raising that baby.
2006 - Moved and needed to get settled in.
1st QTR 2007 - Started Process all over again. :biggrin:

Hey guys. Looks like there are several of us from Bakersfield. I just had the QAP today. So far, so good. Now it's a waiting game to be assigned a BI. The recruiters mentioned the October academy date at that PAT, so I guess we'll plan on that for now. Man do I have a LOT of running to do before then.... Good luck!!!!

I will start testing in the Southern Division. I[ll be taking the PAT on june 2nd. I[ve gone through the entire process already so I know what to expect. Good luck.


Do you know if Harvey is still doing backgrounds in Bakersfield? A CHP officer told me not too long ago he was promoting amd going somewhere else.

Well I wish you the best. As of right now I'm hoping to attend the June 18 class(CTC II-07). If your taking the pat on 6-2-07, you will probably attend the Oct. class. I'm not sure if Harvey is still doing B.I. here or not.
