They should show this during the +/-2000 question psych written test for applicants! "You can't handle the truth!" -Nicholson

Looks like the Officer is having one of those "meh!" days - which turned out "good" for the motorist. Most definitely kudos for the officer, outstanding.
I've dealt with loud belligerent people like this before but on the phone, its easier if you're having a "meh" day.

Hummm... know how some things aren't as they appear...
The officer jacked the guy up off-tape, then turned it on. He is no longer with their department.

That guy was a complete jackass. That officers tone did not change one bit. Kudos to the officer.

I also saw in a TV interview that the motorist had successfully completed an anger management course due not only to this stop but to prior anger issues.

I have heard ( not sure if it's true) that the officer turned his camera off, went and got the driver nice and angry, then turned it back on acting as if he did nothing to stir up the situation. Once again i'm not 100% on that statement but i'm sure it could happen.

If that's how the people act who have successfuly compleated the course,I'd sure hate to see the failures.
I heard this is a short segment of the event taken out of context and is useful to demonstrate some of the drawbacks of the Internet. For one reason or another certain media clips become pop culture, yet no one really knows how they relate to reality. :tape:

Yep, only the people involved know.

They showed that video to my police academy class years back. The instructor also told us that department was testing in car video systems and that particular trooper was the only officer required to use the video system due to numerous verified complaints against the officer by the public. There is definatly more than meets the eye in that video.
