Any recent academy yearbook

Although I have been interested in the CHP for a very long time, I had no idea the academy classes have a yearbook and if I could buy a recent one from someone, I would like to. I know that at Parris Island USMC recruit training, we were issued, or bought, platoon yearbooks but I had no idea til today that the CHP does also. If anyone could assist me as to where to buy one that is recent, I would appreciate it very much..

What made me ask the question was the post topic immediately below mine entitled 1991 YEARBOOK, where someone was looking for a 1991 CHP YEARBOOK. Maybe he was not talking about the academy but a public affairs publication or something, I have no idea.

The "yearbook" was a one-shot thing back in '91 - they haven't made another one since.

If you want to see some CHP Academy photos, try looking at old copies of Zenith 12000, the quarterly CHP publication. It has photos of Academy classes by company and glamour shots of our revered company commanders pressing the flesh with Those Above Us All. :lol:

You might be able to find copies of Zenith 12000 at a local public or university library, but you can also visit your area office and request a copy.

It took a year before my class's photos were published. Go figure.:think:
