I don't think I've ever seen the CHP working a sporting event before. How often does that happen?

I worked the Rose Bowl every year that I was a motor. It was great OT but a really long day. Basically, the city of Pasadena contracts with the CHP to provide officers for traffic control, etc. I also worked traffic control one night on the Rose Parade route. Big mistake, even for the money. I would expect that, due to the crowd expected for the USC / UCLA game, Pasadena contracted for some CHP bodies.
