Is there anyone here that was at the 8/26-27/06 PAT(Duarte) & Pysch test(Pomona)? If so, what is your current status?

my psych (Nov. 3) was the sit-down interview, not the written part with many, many, many, many, many, many questions.

This process took just under 6 months. It is my third process ("all together now") "THIRD TIMES THE CHARM". The process that I started in Aug. 2004 lasted until March 2006. I was DQ'd but re-applied and now I am on my way!!!!!!!!!

I believe the background investigator just worked off of my previous background info. so that sped things up alot.

No problem...

In 2001, I was in a supervisory position at my job. I was replaced by somebody else, but my store manager only told me it was a "personal shift". Even though I lost money in move (lost my raise), I never considered it a demotion. I was told that they just wanted the guy that replaced me to be away from customers (he was a hot-head).

During my BG, i said "no" when asked if I was ever demoted. My BGI said my employee file shows that I was. Since I didn't disclose it, I scored higher in my QAP and put in a better position than other candidates. They saw this as being deceitful, and told me I could not continue in the process.

My BGI encouraged me to continue, stating that the demotion itself was not enough to disqualify me. So I re-applied and made it. My BGI was a great help.
