Academy Orientation

How do we find out about the family pre-academy orientation? I've seen talk about one in the southern division that's coming up, but how do we find out about the others? Will we receive something in the mail, a phone call, or do we need to call the division office (Central Division)? Thanks!

You will receive a phone call to attend. At least that was our experience from this last class (Sept class). This was for the Inland division. We received a phone call about 1.5 weeks prior to his start date informing us of the time and place to attend.

How do we find out about the family pre-academy orientation?

Assuming you have already received your invitation to a class, you should be contacted by either your Background Investigator or a Recruitment Officer from Central Division. If you have received an invitation to an Academy Class, but not yet heard about a pre-Academy orientation, a simple call to the Recruitment Officer at Division should get you the info you need. However if you have not yet received an invitation to an Academy class....hang in there, that has to happen first.
