I was a 2004 applicant  and I'm going into my psych interview so I'm not even close to 3 months. I do have to say it will be worth the wait thou.

Most of the members here at this forum has experience the whole testing process, but I am curious about fastest applicant from written exam to academy. I heard applicants who finished the process in 3 months and some took 2 years. I know everything depends on each applicant, but it's nice to see other applicant's timeframe.

I tested in October of 1965 and reported to the academy on January 31, 1966. Guess that equates to about three months or so.

I placed 237 on the list and was in CTC II-66.

About sixteen months for me from the time I applied until the day I reported to the Academy (twenty-something years ago).

I took the written in late April of this year and am starting the academy Monday, 11 Dec - so about 8 months, 9 if you count sending in the application.

WOW buddy 4th time. You should be a pro by now. I have never taken the exam before but hope to someday. What helps me with tests in school is getting in study groups if available and also making goals while studying such as memorizing certain lists by that day and knowing your basic grammar skills surprisingly helps a lot in college. You will need to know them for any prfessional job not only as a requirement but tomake yourself look somewhat intelligent. Most people think they know them but find out too late they don't such as on the written exam. What areas of the test (if in sections?) are you having the most problems with? Many officers who have passed this same test would be more help. What date are you set to take it. Relax when you get there and good luck.
