What is the highest score you can get on the written test?

You should know where you failed. If you thought the questions were all very easy and you failed then you have a major problem. Think back to the test date and try to remember the type of questions you were having trouble with. Those are the questions you need to brush up on. There are plenty of materials out there that have practice tests and answers. Take those tests and find out where your problem is. There is a book with a few practice tests and a study guide available from the CHP that has a practice test.

The point is that I don't think they will tell you where you did the worst. Through self evaluation and practice tests you can find the problem(s) and correct it.

I wish they would bring back the essay portion of the test.

I wish they would bring back the essay portion of the test.

why? so more people can fail? on the plus side, the CHP might have brighter officers

Read my post here (http://www.chpforums.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=1572) regarding the essay.
