View Full Version : Gmail Invites
If anyone wants a Gmail (http://www.gmail.com) invite, send me a PM with your address. Not that they're hard to get anymore, but I thought I'd offer.
(If anyone hasn't tried it yet, Gmail is 'da bomb.)

Yes, it is, but... It is difficult to describe all the things that [I think] make it better. One of the biggest features is that it threads your emails, so if you and I go back and forth eight times, they all show up under one thread -- takes a little getting used-to, but is really nice in the end. Also, the idea is you never delete anything, only "archive." (2.5GB of space) You can use folders (labels, actually), but the easiest way to find something is just to search through everything. The search is google-fast and works remarkably well. You can also view all mail by contact.
It now supports sending mail with other from: fields, so you can send "from" all your accounts.

Another example to this:
I broke my cell phone and lost all the numbers. So I emailed the 60 or so people that I needed their numbers and then when they replied back, it was all in the same thread. So, instead of having to look into 60 or so different emails, all were in one thread, that you can expand and collapse. I love Gmail.
