I was actually up at the game, as my sister/parents now live outside of Portland. My Aunt and Uncle actually flew in from OK as well for the game. It was a tough loss, but at least we got to see some of our friends from Norman. As well, for the entire officiating crew to get suspended for the week, I think that says that our frustration with them is justified.

One of the coolest things about that day was that a Duck fan had set up a HUGE tailgate for any and all OU fans. When he went back to Norman two years ago, he said the OU fans were the nicest that he had ever met and wanted to repay them. So, he posted on one of the OU boards about the tailgate and he had upwards of 40 people there at any given time.

All the Duck fans were great, even after the game.

Hopefully our D shows up against Texas...

I saw some of the pictures from the big Sooner/Duck tailgate, glad you got a chance to attend. One of the many things that makes college football so much better than the NFL.
