Did anyone see the story on the news last night where the family of six all died in a car crash? Horrible - just horrible. I believe they said 3 generations in the vehicle, Grandparents, Parents, and 2 babys.
The 99 and 70 up in Marysville, Yuba City area are known for deadly crashes, but a family of six is hard to swallow.
They said the guy involved is being charged on 6 counts of DUI, 6 counts of murder, and some other charges for running away with his partner. I also heard he had 2 or 3 previous charges involving DUI's.
According to the news reporter they were also going to try and file charges with the bar, they said that allowing someone to leave drunk renders them liable.
All over 99 and highway 50 their are LED signs stating to report drunken drivers by dialing 911 - they should put some up here in Yuba/Marysville. I think it's bad enough hearing they're are witnesses that saw the truck traveling at speeds which were unsafe, with his lights off, and threading the needle - I am assuming they did not dial 911 however I am probably wrong.

MARYSVILLE, Calif. - A suspected drunken driver was arrested Sunday after allegedly fleeing the scene of a car crash that killed six family members, authorities said.
Brian Bledsoe, 28, of Linda, was being held on suspicion of murder, drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
The family was driving home to Olivehurst from a baptism around 10:25 p.m. Saturday when a pickup truck driven by Bledsoe crashed into their vehicle on Highway 70 in Yuba County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The impact sent the family's SUV into a eucalyptus tree, killing everyone inside.
Witnesses told authorities the pickup truck had been speeding and swerving without its lights on the highway before the crash.
Killed were Thomas Negrete, 29; his wife, Maribel Negrete, 29; the couple's 3-year-old son, Eric Negrete; 6-month-old son, Caser Negrete; grandmother Maria Raya, 63; and grandfather Jose Raya Quintana, 65.
