Does anyone have the current number so far of cadets starting the academy on September 18th

I was told that we could expect upwards of 220. At any rate, our class is going to be one of the largest since around 1996.

If they start with 220, they should be down to 180 in, ohhhhh, a couple of weeks. :badgrin:

I know this has been talked about on here before but I couldn't find it. Can someone give me a idea on what offices take new officers from the academy? Thanks...........

Truckee wouldn't be bad..........I just want to get out of So. Ca bad but I don't know if the Bay would be much better.

We ran consistent classes of 180 for a couple years starting with CTC II-00, I believe.

Did you ever have a class where there amount that went in graduated...?

I was watching the video of the last graduation, there were only 49 new officers.

I strongly doubt that's EVER happened in the history of the Highway Patrol. The BI/recruitment guys here might know better than me, but I'd put good money that it's never happened.

I know what he is talking about and it wasn't video of the actual graduation. It was that video someone on here posted of Arnold speaking at the graduation and I remember him replying 49 officers were graduating today.
