Please, please, please be completely and 100% honest about your personal history. Don't leave anything out, even if you think its not going to matter or is insignifigant - you will thank yourself months later instead of sitting infront of a BG investigator looking stupid.
Do your leg work, and investigate your work history, previous addresses, run your credit report, go to SS and get your complete job record. Talk to old bosses and look at personnel folders.

Do yourself the favor, and you might save yourself a whole lot of dissapointment later.

Aw man that sucks. Well the only advice i can give is to keep trying! If you want his job bad enough, KEEP TRYING! Long story short, between written test and Iraq and Lasik exams and delays, it has taken me four years to date! Finally i will be attending the Sep 18th class. Dont give up.

In one of your previous posts, you indicated that you were very thorough in researching for the PHS. I don't want to know specifically what your DQ was for, but I am curious about whether it had anything to do with not providing enough information or being too vague on an answer. On my PHS, I've given a bunch of facts, but I haven't elaborated on them and given my oen opinion.

For instance, if I written up on the job...

I would give the date of the write up and basic circumstances, i.e. "10/10/2000 - Written warning for failing to receive approval for an absence."

I didn't give the full details of the situation, i.e. "10/10/2000 - Written warning for failing to receive approval for an absence. I had a normal doctor's appointment and then afterwards, I started to feel sick, so I decided to stay home. I called and notified my supervisor and was subsequently written up."

Is the first example considered being too vague?

P.S. Sorry to hear about your DQ.

As long as you disclosed it you should be fine. You will get an opportunity to explain write-ups in more detail.
