Does anyone have a PIC of the Dodge Chargers we are testing? That should be a car fun if it makes it...
Check out this thread: http://www.chpforums.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=46. There are a couple pics of them near the bottom of page 2.
I've got two photos of some Maryland State Police Chargers. Can they be added here? Could not determine how to do that.

Hi,
New guy here. The top two photographs in the above link of the white Charger at the Academy I took about 2 months ago. Somebody posted them there but it wasn't me. The Captain there advised the black and whites would be in soon but no word yet.

Darryl, great shots of the Ripon PD Charger and the CHP charger! Thanks for the update on the CHP black and whites. Definitely look forward to seeing those on the road.

Word to the wise, give yourself plenty of runoff room when closing on a violator.
We were going to get them, but they didn't pass the durability test. Bad brakes, and overheating problems.
They might have gotten them fixed with you all though.
I have a pic right here...the Chief brought one over a few weeks ago...
how do I post it again...post a link to a file sharing site or something...
it is all white (SMPV style, but not PCF style) and was having problems with the light bars staying on at high speed (mounting issue with sheetmetal rigidity) and the mdc was in the way because the cab is narrow. Sounded like it is cool...but not the "work horse" the crown vic has been. And, I know, as well as all of you...the crown vic can off-road, push some big stuff, and simply 'aint half bad' ...so unless there is a CLEAR victory, I am willing to stay with ol faithful.
waiting for reply to drop some pics

Hey ResQ, this method worked well for me. Thanks to Redhead for the original posting of the instructions. Looking forward to the pics.
Quick and kind of easy way:
Go to www.imageshack.us and upload your photo. If its a large image, best to re-size it (by clicking the box to 640x480 or 800x600). After you click upload, the very bottom link on image shack states "Direct Link to Image". Copy that and then come back to the forum, click on this button and a box will pop up. Paste your URL from Imageshack into there and your photo will appear :
And then your photo (s) will be posted. Each photo will require its own unique URL tag. So, post an image, go back and upload another.
EDIT: If the images are hosted on another site; ie Flicker/photobucket/cnn.com, wherever, you can get the URL link and post that instead of the using imageshack or other photo hosting site.
Hope that helps?!
thanks for the reminder.
this is my friday...so after work and barley pops...white chargers will appear
thanks

What kind of portable radio does the officer in the above picture have? Is that the new issued radio?

It might be one of the test radios. I know a couple of areas have them, but who knows

Why paint the car all white then throw on a Vision lightbar on the top? I'm sure they have a few of the flat style LED ones from the Camaro's laying around or just make them slick tops like the PCF cars

That car is used for recruitment not patrol. Those rims do look cheap, right out of a JC Whitney catalog.

I've drivin both the CV and Charger back to back. The Charger only has a slight advantage in off the line acceleration. They handle about the same but the Dodge's power steering is over boosted and dosen't give much feed back. The Dodge also has a horrible blind spot to the rear when changing lanes, so expect to see an increase in backing/lane change TC's. The Dodge is uni-body construction and not body on frame like the CV. Those that can remember the Mustang will remember how flexible they got when the miles got up there. Mine had cracks on both A pillars at the roof line.
