2012 Morro Bay Emergency Vehicle Show

OK folks, time to start planning your attendance for one of the first all-emergency vehicle shows of the 2012 season!

The Morro Bay PD & FD Emergency Vehicle Show was a tremendous success in its inaugural year in 2011. The 2nd annual edition is slated for Saturday, April 21 and will again be held right smack in downtown Morro Bay located on the beautiful Central California coast.

Also back is the MBPD escorted Code-3 cruise on Friday evening from the waterfront to Carla’s Country Kitchen of Morro Bay where the establishment is graciously hosting a hospitality night for all entrants.

The show is open to current or restored emergency vehicles, modern or vintage, including police, fire, military, tow truck, security, ambulance, and related public service organizations. This event is a non-profit fundraiser with all proceeds benefitting Morro Bay’s Neighborhood Watch and the Morro Bay Community Foundation.

It's a joy seeing all those restored CHP cars, hopefully my 85 mustang will be there next year:cool:

I had talked to my dad, and we don't have the money to trailer our 00 CVPI down there (since it is a turn key cruiser and we haven't registered it up here yet).
Probably no shows for me this spring/summer :( Car or no car I'll be at ripon:biggrin:

Great pictures.

I noticed 2 things wrong in those pictures, one was a car with the tire mounted backward :doh:, the other ill leave up to the others to find... I also spotted a friend in the background of one shot.

No. This car has its tire on backwards. It matters. There is writing on that tire that says "this side in" in case you're a mental midget.
