I thought I would post this, just in case anyone wanted to help. Kind of sad that something like this would happen to a charity organization. I don't know the history of the charity or anything, but it sounds like a good thing. Anyway, here is the local article:

Bad as this is, it happens around here at least once a year, and that particular location then must go to extreme security measures to see that it doesn't happen again. Hopefully, with the good will of the good people who hear about it, they will more than replace the losses, which too, seems to happen every year. I can't imagine what is in the heart of people who do that. I saw someone steal a Christmas tree once years ago, and I always wondered how they could enjoy looking at that tree. Must have felt entitled somehow. Thanks for posting this.
