I recently looked at a friends drivers license, and he has a class c, but it has a "42. may tow RV over x amount of lbs." on the back of it.

I never gave this any thought before, but how does the non commercial class A or B look in appearance as compared to the commercial A or B, and what's the difference between this class c with a "42" on the back and a class A or B non-commercial?

a single vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or less including a tow dolly, if used.
With a vehicle weighing 4,000 lbs. or more unladen, you may tow a:

trailer coach not exceeding 9,000 lbs. gross
trailer coach or fifth-wheel travel trailer under 10,000 lbs. GVWR when towing is not for hire.
fifth-wheel travel trailer exceeding 10,000 lbs. but under 15,000 lbs. GVWR, when towing is not for hire and with endorsement.

Looks like he might have the one above with that endorsement.
Geez they are getting so specialized

On your picture.....I'm guessing there's a geezer license that follows that same theme?
