Outgoing PM's not sending?

I have been trying to reply to a couple PM's, but I don't think they are "sending". They are not showing up in the sent folder on my PC, nor on my iPhone Forum Runner. Is there anyway to find out why this is happening, or how to fix it? I'd have PM'd the admins about this directly... but I don't think they'd have gotten the message! :lol:

Hmmm... I just sent a couple messages out and they appeared in my sent items. I'll see if I get a response.

....You mentioned from your PC. If you have it set to notify you by email you of a PM, you can no respond to it by email. You must login and respond through the web site.

No, they are not even showing up in my "sent" folder. I type out a new message (or reply to one sent to me), send it, and am returned to the inbox.

On the other note, I'm not responding via email (on my PC it my phone). I am logging into the forum, going to my mailbox, and trying to respond to or send new PM's from there.

I will send you a PM right now to test. Please respond via PM if you get it, or post here if you do not (by 1900).

Don't know what's going on - I'm able to both send and receive PMs.

I updated the forum engine -- which I've been putting off for a few, couch, months -- and all the plugins. May be resolved.

Sent you a test message, DW. It didn't give me the full mailbox error this time, but it is still not showing up as an outgoing message (Sent Message folder).

Just for S&G, I went into the User CP to check some settings (just in case I BO'd something...). The only things I've found so far are the vCard setting was not checked, the "Receive Email from Other Members" was not checked, and the "Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators" was not checked. However, I DID receive private messages from random other members (non-contacts), even in the time since I un-checked that box. I'm going to re-check it, and try to send another PM.

I'm having the same issue right now I think. I just tried to reply to a PM and it isnt showing in my sent folder. I'm not 100% sure if it sent or not? :noidea:

As a suggestion, go under your User CP and click the tab for Edit Options. If you look at the bottom of the choices you need to make sure you check the box to retain messages in your Sent Items folder.
