I turned in my PHS on the 31st of May - do they do the call backs for the initial interviews based on QAP scores or is it a "whenever they get to you" sort of thing? Thanks!

I dont know if this helps you--I'm in the Golden Gate Division...I turned in my PHS on July 6th I got a call from my BI on July 9th...the following Monday. I don't know if they do it by QAP scores...a recruiter told me every Background Unit is diifferent, call the office and make sure they recieved your PHS, it doesn't hurt to show a little initative.;) Good Luck!

From what I understand, initial interviews are conducted as the BI recieves there case. Some investigations take longer than others, so there is no way to determine an exact date. Normally a BI will call you to give you a general idea when they will begin your case.

You just have to have patience, this process will take awhile.

I am going to make it!

I turned my PHS about a week prior to you. My BI contacted me for the first time 2 weeks ago. Also in the same division as you. They are very busy right now. Just hang on you'll get there. They do start at the top QAP score and work down.

I am out of the Golden Gate division and like WannaBeaChippie, I was contacted just a few days after turning in my PHS. It actually caught me off guard since I had been told and read on here that it usually takes weeks to months to have the first initial BI meeting. Good luck to those going through the process.

Thanks for the replies.
I am going to try and call the Central Officea and just check up. I recieved a post card from the office that they had infact recieved my PHS but a little follow up wouldn't hurt.

A little follow-up this early is unnecessary and is only going to divert time from working your and other cases. One call may not seem like a big deal, but if your BI is getting calls from all his cases, it can delay things. They sent you a confirmation card for a reason. Now is the time to be patient.
