I'm going over my PHS and under residences, i have finally listed the home I grew up in, at this home i lived with 1 brother, 2 sisters, and my parents. The box next to that says please include the name and phone numbers of persons resided with.

Do i need to fit in the names and #'s of all my siblings and parents??

The box next to that says please include the name and phone numbers of persons resided with.

Your post says it all. To be accurate, it says "(Include phone numbers)", there's no please in there.

Essentially, I guess that was kind of a dumb question. Thank you DW

Yes, you should include current phone numbers where your BI will be able to contact them. You should be very thorough in your PHS. Remember, the harder it is to contact those people, the slower your backround process will go.

Remember to proofread, proofread, and proofread. Then have someone else (that you trust) proofread your PHS again!

And get to love the letters DNA. If you have no military there should be an entire page of them, leave no blanks. No blank spaces will make your initial BI meeting go much smoother if he/she doesn't have to keep asking if items apply to you or not and you just forgot them. DNA leaves no doubt.

Congrats on the conditional by the way, good luck from here on in to you.

Once your PHS is in the mail, write down everything you forgot and any changes or additions to you life. You will need to know it at your initial interview. Good luck.

I hope your real name isn't MicahJames, because if it is...You've just told anyone and everyone with access to a computer your name, how many people are in your family and that your trying to join the CHP. So, down the road when and if you become a LEO, you have place yourself at a disadvantage with those people out there who want to do harm to LEO's. There are way to many people on this website putting way to much personal info out there for all the world to see. I realize newbies are very excited about their career choices and want to talk about it a lot, but use some common sense and realize you are not on a secured website. Never, share ANY personal information on this web site. That also includes cadets and their spouses sharing class info and who goes where upon graduation. You need to realize there are thousands of other officers out there and what you post on this website just might affect or jeopardize one of them and their safety.
