Hey guys n gals, just to let you know that Sac com 214 has been testing the new VisiCad software by Tritech now for about 1 week and so far it seems that there are some serious issues that need to be ironed out, it takes a while to get up to speed and it takes longer to run 28's and 27's/29's etc than it ever did before.

If there are any chippies from sac comms area on here, please, try to be patient, it's really frustrating for us at the dispatch center to not be able to give you guys what you need when you need it ie (NOW!!) LOL

I'm sure it will get better but like I say, don't get too testy w/dispatch at the mo, things are all up in the air, its a totally new system as some of you are aware by your mdc's and the GPS trackers on the patrol veh.

An officer did recently start a post to address that issue in the officers forum. Hopefully, officers will be understanding. I just try to run everything on MDC now unless I feel that my safety will be compromised to do so.:wink:
