Solar Highways, anyone?

The contractors in our area could not even figure out how to repave the roadway correctly. Who is going to be installing these? Not the shovel/sign holders at our construction scenes. Interesting ideas though, I'm not against any "green" solutions as long as they are practical and make more sense financially than the currently used ideas.

I'm still waiting for my jet pack as described in 'My Weekly Reader' back when I was in the third grade in 1954. Then I'll just fly everywhere.
