SB 405

Media picked up a pursuit with LAPD about 10:15pm. CHP took over in the Castaic area but the media helicopters had to pull out because of safety issues flying over pitch black terrain. LAPD chased these clows around LA for about an hour at some pretty high speeds before thay headed north on the 405. Anyone know where this thing came to an end? I heard something about Bakersfield?

Thats the only information I could find:
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two high-speed pursuits that both started in Los Angeles County ended in arrests on Friday night.
In the first case, two suspects led police on a chase that began in Highland Park (http://search.abclocal.go.com/search/client?st=kabc&search=siteSearch&q=Highland+Park). The pursuit (http://search.abclocal.go.com/search/client?st=kabc&search=siteSearch&q=pursuit) didn't end until the suspects were arrested in Bakersfield more than an hour later.
At one point, police said one of the suspects threw a gun out of the window.
The two were suspected of stealing a car at a gas station where the chase began.I also came across this news:

Guess that car was just filled up when those little thugs stole it at the gas station.
I believe you're thinking of a different pursuit. The one in the article started in Castaic traversed the 5 south to 170 to 134 and then out east. This pursuit did not take place during the hours of darkness.

The OP's pursuit ended at the 5 and Osito Canyon, the driver just pulled over and stopped. Original felony wants from LAPD. We tried to catch it, but were coming from Orange County.
