You're eligible for the September Academy up until the day before it starts.

My BI said that in order to make the September academy your backround must be complete by July 18th. So you have got a shot, good luck :shock:ops:

Our BIs told us that anyone attending the September Academy will be notified 30 days before the beginning of the cadet class. So... August 18th.

Word is invitations will stop 30 days prior to the class as Cameron said, so August 18th. I'd leave at least a month for medical and psych, assuming there are no problems with either, so if your background is completed prior to July 18th or so, you have a chance at making the class. Remember, this is if everything goes as smoothly as possible.

You may want to search around, but the average time after your final interview is one to three months. Military make take more time. The backgrounds units statewide have been expanded, which may speeds things along slightly, but there is still a lot of follow-up and waiting for records (especially military). Military will not change anything other than your QAP score.
