Hot off the presses from the organizers of the Ripon show:

The Morro Bay Police Department will be holding their first annual emergency vehicle show on the above date. The show is open to all police, fire, emergency and special service vehicles. There will be awards for modern and vintage entries

Do we get to test drive some of the cars?

Do we get to test drive some of the cars?Well, I can't speak for any agency owned vehicles but I'd say unless you're willing to make a mighty hefty "donation" to the owners of the privately held ones, you're probably going to be out of luck!

I'm up in the at the moment if I can get the Cadillac out there. It's currently down needing repairs and have no idea if i will be able to obtain all the parts before then. I had trouble at the last show in Ripon with driveline vibrations as well as a steering box slowly going out.

I may attend in my POV Retired Alameda County S.O. Dodge Magnum and show my support to Darryl and the Morro Bay PD.

Ran into one of the show organizers last Sunday at the Knott's Fab Fords show in Buena Park. He says they have received around 75 pre-registered entries so the turnout will be great for this inaugural event. The weather forecast is for 68 and sunny so it's a big go on this one...come on out!
