academy start dates

For those who have been accepted to the Sept. academy, what is the start date? The start dates are every 3 months? The reason I ask is I am trying to decide if I am going to register for classes in the fall and was wondering if I would be able to complete the classes or would the start date in Dec. be before classes were done. I know I can defer the hiring process, I just don't want to if I can get in. DW, or theforcechp, or any others who might know, it would be a big help.

The September Academy starts on the 18th. I am not sure when the next academy after that starts, you may want to call the CHP Hiring Unit in Sacramento and ask them.

If you can figure out when the May class ends then add 10 days to that.


Ok the May class started on the 29th and the Sept. class starts on the 18th. That is 17 weeks in between and using those numbers I would GUESS that the next class would start January 8th, but I thought it was a Dec. class so maybe it will be Dec. 25th. As you can tell I don't know and am only using numbers to guess at the date.
