ctc iv-05 mgib?

moderators, please move this to where it belongs. i had no clue where to put it... not about the department, not about hiring... should i have put it in ot?

anyhow, since i obviously don't have access to the officer only forum and my husband absolutely refuses to read, never mind post, i thought i'd ask here... has anyone from ctc iv-05 received their mgib check? we got the letter saying his application had been received and another one saying he was confirmed as qualifying for the mgib for the academy time... but nothing else, yet. any idea on an eta? the money's burning a hole in my pocket, haha, and it's not even here, yet! res-q, you're the all-knowing mgib guy, right? heard anything on your end?

I talked to the folks at the college we had to apply through...they had processed (or were processing) the apps the week after graduation...so plan on 6-8 weeks from then...

and don't forget, we can go through the CHP Area office representative, the painful and lengthy process for doing the paperwork, and submit verification of OJT during break in and get 75% of the full benefit (=$750/mo) and the payment will be some 10 weeks after submission! but hey it is money that we earned right? So keep that in mind...and be patient like the saint you are ;)
