Oral Psych done

I had my psych interview today. I really have no idea how it went. It took about an hour and the doctor didn't seem to expand on any particular area, just a straight forward question and answer session.

Now the dreaded waiting begins. I know that they only notify an applicant of a poor result and that the academy invite is evidence of passing. Does anyone know when the academy invites for September will start going out?

I took my psych in May and have the physical next Tuesday. Looks like we might be in the September class together.

Thanks K-Lo. Yeah I had the medical a couple of weeks ago. If I passed the psych (and you just never know with that thing) I will be going into message board hiding sometime in August in anticipation of a pending six-month "love" fest starting in September.

COngrats on finishing everything. My oral psych was over 3 weeks ago, and I havent heard anything yet, so I guess thats a good thing.

I felt the same exact way when I came out of my interview. I am not sure when the invitations to the academy in Sept will start going out, but I would assume they are not in any hurry to get them out just yet, unfortunatelly for us. But, my guess, is they will start to send out invitation around the end of July (total guess). Unfortunatelly for us that just missed the May academy, we may have to wait a while to get an invite.

I too had my psych oral today (the 20th). It only lasted about 40 minutes... the doc didn't have my packet from sac so it was being faxed as we talked. Like Dipmo, I didn't know what to think and can only hope I get the letter soon. Everything else is done so hopefully I will meet you guys in Sept.

Well I'm another one in the same boat. I had my Oral Psyc. about 3 1/2 weeks ago and am bitting at the bit waiting for a letter that's too big for our little PO box.

I also didnt know what to expect after my psyc. It seemed like all he wanted to go over were the same questions that I have been asked from day one and really didnt dig into anything new.
