CHP ride along [Archive]

Can anyone apply for it? I've been wanting to go on one but was quite unsure if there was any specifications or not. I was told by a leo in my hometown during a ride along that anyone could apply for one. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys :smile:

I believe it varies from office to office. My old neighbor, who I still keep in touch with, works out of the Stockton CHP office and he told me that one must be in the QAP portion of the application process to eligible. I would recommend you contact your local office and ask. The worst they can say is no.
