Military vs College

Just thought I might start a new topic, Now I know It should come down to the quality of the person applying but which one is looked at better?
example.... 4years Marines or 4year College degree ex... Criminal Justice/admin from a University.

Each person is looked at individually...yes they want someone with common sense and education...but when it all comes down to it...look at you as an overall performer.
