Wow. What a dummy. I can see him getting a nice fine or jail time compliments of the FAA. Who was the officer in the red truck? I saw him racing up and was like WTF? Budget cuts I guess...

I had a similar pursuit in a rural areas airport. The guy plead guilty to a 3 year prison sentence. FAA did not get involved in mine because the airport did not have a "Traffic control tower." I bet this guy will be looking at some federal charges pending against him because it sounds like this airport did.

I always wonder what goes through these people's heads when they decide to upgrade their charges. "Gee, state jurisdiction isn't enough, I want to upgrade to federal, I heard they have better chow!" :hitwall:
