What Does This Mean...

Heard the dispatcher say something on the radio and I'm not sure what it means...."Vehicle on the right shoulder with an x-ray driver"....what is that?

Female driver. I have no clue why they use x-ray for female but our department does too.

Female driver... there are some different policies to follow when dealing with females.

They stem from some unfortunate incidents in the past.

I can understand that. Suppose I'd pick up the pace a little if I heard a female was stranded. To many WACKO'S would love to see that.
